Dr. Judith Thurswell is a fully licensed Clinical Psychologist. She specializes in individual, couples and family therapy working with adults and adolescents, Dr. Thurswell maintains a private practice in Michigan as well as Florida. Currently, all appointments are virtual telehealth visits.
With over fifteen years experience as a marriage and family therapist, and as a graduate of Michigan School of Professional Psychology, Dr. Thurswell is trained in humanistic psychology. This field of psychology focuses on the human potential of each individual to realize their own potential for self-actualization and self-growth. Dr. Thurswell is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are substance abuse and addiction, mood disorders and couples/family counseling.
Dr. Thurswell is an interactive and collaborative psychologist with an integrated approach to each client. Dr. Thurswell also has a Masters Degree in Counseling with a Specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. Her therapeutic approach provides supportive feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. Dr.Thurswell integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach. With compassion and understanding, Dr. Thurswell works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
